Mini Maker (WIP)'s Team and Future Plans!

Howdy to our fellow Makers!

Thank you SO much for the support that's been thrown our way these past few days. Mini Maker(WIP), as of right now has 6000+ views and 450 downloads! Holy smokes! That's no joke, that's a pretty awesome response to our baby.

Now, if you're wondering what to expect from the future of Mini Maker, I'm happy to share the following with you: Mini Maker is getting a bit of a makeover, so our baby is gonna be even prettier. We're also adding a local co-op mode, because who doesn't want to make ugly sh*t with their friends and family? And, just to spice things up, we're hoping to get this game to be Twitch integrated, because we LOVE CHAOS. Lastly, we plan to give the option of as little or as many "distractions" and flying enemies as you'd like --we know some folks love to make things with little limitations, and some love the challenge!

I'm also realizing we keep saying "we", but haven't formally introduced ourselves. We call ourselves Casa Rara, which makes it maybe sound like there's 20 people boarded up in a room, when it's actually just 5 (with the occasional guest in case we need some assistance or advice). We like to think we have big goals 'n' dreams for Mini Maker!

You know what? Let me bring you up to speed with some Casa Rara-related facts:

10 FUN FACTS ABOUT OUR TEAM AND GAME

1. It took us 4 months to make our Vertical Slice (and it went really well, phew!)

2. 3 of us are from France! 1 from Canada! 1 From Spain! This makes for a lot of really funny mispronunciations of English words, we're still learning to handle this.

3. 1 time a redditor wrote this about our game and cracked us up:

4. 1 of us runs entirely on cookies! (This is almost a joke)

5. 2 of us have pets! 1 is a hairless cat (who is mine and I will hijack any post to talk about, I mean come on, look at her...)

5. The other, Mika, has fur to spare

6. 3 of our team members love to draw butts.

7.  We have a Twitch where myself and another team member make fan art on Mini Maker each week! Check it out here and feel free to suggest us stuff.

8. Initially, our game was called Mini Paint and was entirely 2D!

9.  The Minis' backstory used to have some big similarities to Pixar's Inside Out . This is no longer the case.

10. 5 out of 5 of us have or still do struggle with perfectionism--which, coincidentally, is one of the big themes for this game.

Well, that's our small group of recovering perfectionists in 10 facts --thanks for tuning in, and let us know what you thought of our Vertical Slice in the comments!
